At MAREUS, each product is made from premium natural materials, carefully selected for durability, comfort and elegance over time. Proper maintenance of natural fur , leather or wool products contributes significantly to maintaining their appearance and structure.

MAREUS product warranty

The duration of the MAREUS commercial warranty is between 1 and 3 years depending on the type of product. This warranty is offered in addition to the consumer's legal rights regarding conformity, but is not cumulative with them.

What does the warranty cover?

• Manufacturing defects
• Structural seam problems
• Non-conformities of materials with product specifications

What the warranty does not cover

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by excessive moisture
• Damage caused by exposure to rain or snow
• Unauthorized interventions or modifications
• Cleaning in non-specialized centers
• Incorrect storage (humidity, moths, compression)
• Excessive contact with heat sources or chemical agents (perfume, creams, etc.)
• Mechanical damage (scratches, snags, tears caused by mechanical forces or wearing a size that is too small)

Request procedure

• Contact the MAREUS team at contact@mareus.ro
• Submit clear photos of the product and its defects plus a description of the problem
• Provide proof of purchase or order details
• After analysis, the MAREUS team will return with a response and next steps within 15 working days.
• After receipt and analysis of the product, if a manufacturing defect is found, MAREUS will propose its repair if possible or its replacement if the repair cannot be carried out.

Maintenance of natural fur clothes

After wearing:

• Gently shake the product to remove surface dirt.
• Air it out in a ventilated space.
• Do not apply heat (dryer, radiator)

If it gets wet (rain/snow):

• Shake off excess water.
• Blot with a soft towel.
• Let it dry naturally, away from heat sources.
• After drying, lightly comb and shake out

Correct storage:

• In a well-ventilated cupboard, away from strong light sources
• No plastic directly on the product
• On a wide hanger
• Avoid long-term compression or storing between other clothes that press the fur
• Uses moth solutions, without direct contact (lavender)

Cleaning:

• Exclusively in specialized centers

Maintenance of genuine leather products

Storage and maintenance :

• Avoid exposing the product to rain or snow, risk of discoloration
• Avoid direct contact with water, perfume, alcohol or chemical agents
• Air it out in a ventilated space.
• Moisturize the skin with special natural leather balm/cream (test on a hidden area)
• Do not apply heat (dryer, radiator)

If it gets wet (rain/snow):

• Let it dry naturally, away from heat sources.
