Delivery and Returns
ABOUT DELIVERY
Mareus delivers ordered products throughout Romania. They will be shipped by courier services to the address specified during checkout. The delivery time for products in stock is 1-3 business days, while products made to order take approximately 10-15 business days. This timeframe is estimated, and changes may occur depending on the product, stock availability, or the period in which the order is placed.
Shipping is free for orders over 700 lei within Romania. Orders up to 700 lei are subject to a fixed fee of approximately 20 lei.
For international orders, the shipping price may vary depending on the parcel's weight and the destination country. At checkout, the shipping cost will be displayed based on the country. The delivery time for products in stock is 3-7 business days, while products made to order take approximately 15-20 business days. This timeframe is estimated, and changes may occur depending on the product, stock availability, or the period in which the order is placed.
Parcels delivered to countries in the European Union are exempt from customs duties.
For parcels delivered to countries outside the European Union, the customs duties applicable in the destination country will apply. Customs duties are NOT included in the product price, and the customer is responsible for handling them, either by using DHL Express's customs clearance service, the shipping company through which we deliver parcels, or any other method preferred by the customer.
ABOUT RETURNS
According to the Romanian legislation in force, the purchase may be canceled by unilaterally withdrawing from the contract within 14 calendar days of receiving the product. This applies only to individual consumers who purchased the product remotely in accordance with the conditions of O.U.G. 34/2014.
The consumer has the right to notify the merchant in writing that they are withdrawing from the purchase, without penalties and without stating a reason, within 14 calendar days of receiving the product or, in the case of services, of concluding the contract.
The sales contract is concluded when the tax invoice is issued (this document serves as the contract under Romanian legislation), not when the order is placed or when an automatic order receipt confirmation is sent by email (or through other means of communication).
Returned products must be in the same condition in which they were delivered, with all accessories and documents that accompanied them, and must not show any physical alterations, dents, scratches, etc. on any of the listed elements. To be accepted, the product label must not be removed or torn from the product. The direct costs of returning the products will be borne by the customer, and reimbursement of their value will be made within no more than 14 business days from the date of withdrawal and only by bank transfer or, in the case of card payments, directly to the card account. Return parcels sent with cash on delivery will not be accepted. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Returns are initiated by submitting a return request, with the option to choose one of the following:
- Exchange for another product / another size
- Refund in cash
- Product modification/repair

Once it has been submitted, a MAREUS representative will review the form and send a courier as soon as possible to collect the product. The customer may also choose to send the parcel to the Mareus warehouse at:

Shipping costs are covered by Mareus in the case of an exchange for another product. In the event of a refund, the cost will be covered by the customer, deducted from the refunded amount or paid upon shipping.
